Amendment 4: Vote No to Protect Direct Democracy

Petition signatures fill countless boxes

In Missouri today, voters can approve a law by simple majority. Amendment 4 would change this. It would require a majority of voters in each of Missouri's eight congressional districts to pass. That means a law could be blocked by just 6% of voters—even if 94% vote yes. FHForward believes this is disruptive to the democratic process and removes one way voters check and balance the power of the legislature. Please vote no on Amendment 4.
